I DON’T WANT LOTS OF MSG IN MY DIET.
MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) is something you’ll generally find in Asian-style fast food, when street vendors or small restaurants are trying to take a short cut to flavor. You’ll find NO ADDED MSG in Suji’s food, apart from small amounts that are naturally present in wholesome ingredients like soy sauce. We’ve worked hard in the kitchen to balance out the inherent flavors of simple, real ingredients– there’s no short cut to the wholesome taste of Suji’s Cuisine!
KOREAN FOOD IS PRETTY SPICY, RIGHT?
Koreans enjoy some spicy dishes– but that doesn’t mean all Korean food is spicy. In fact, many Korean dishes, like classic bulgogi beef or Korean glass noodles, aren’t spicy in the least! Suji’s makes it easy for you to adjust the level of heat — or absence of it — by presenting a “Suji’s Spicy Score” on every package.

Kimchi is an acquired taste – some like it more, some less. Kimchi does tend to get a lot of the popular attention when it comes to Korean food, but the truth is Koreans actually eat kimchi in fairly small amounts, as a side dish. In fact, Kimchi often serves the same function for Koreans that a deli pickle might serve next to a sandwich. It adds a little crunch and flavor, but it’s rarely the main ingredient!
